Oxford fabric is mainly composed of polyester and nylon. Today, we would like to share with you polyester Oxford fabric. Polyester Oxford fabric has clear color dots, lightweight fabric, good water resistance, bending resistance, anti-static property, tensile strength and fire resistance.

Polyester is composed of long fibers and elastic long fibers. Elastic fibers can be classified as high, medium and low elasticity fibers. Polyester low elasticity long fiber fibers are curly, while polyester high elasticity long fiber fibers are straight.

Properties of polyester fibers

Strength: The strength of polyester fibers is almost twice that of cotton and three times that of wool. Therefore, polyester fabrics are strong and durable.

Heat resistance: It can be used at -70 to 170 °C. It has the heat resistance and thermal stability of synthetic fibers.

Elasticity: The elasticity of polyester is close to that of wool, and its anti-wrinkle property is better than that of other fibers. The fabric has no wrinkles and good conformability.

Wear resistance: The wear resistance of polyester fibers is second only to nylon fibers and second to synthetic fibers.

Absorption: Polyester has a low moisture regain rate and good insulation. However, due to its low water absorption rate, high static electricity generated by friction and poor natural adsorption of dyes, it is usually dyed using high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing methods.
